Anna Brilliant
College & Career Assist Coordinator

As the College & Career Assist Coordinator, Anna will guide the development and implementation of programmatic processes to ensure New Heights student athletes have the necessary support as they enter higher education and the workforce.

Anna brings with her a varied landscape of educational and experiential knowledge and expertise, particularly with youth of diverse ages. Furthermore, Anna also brings both a local and global perspective, as she’s worked alongside youth in Cyprus, Israel, Newark, and, most recently, Pittsburgh. Beyond her robust experience working with youth, Anna’s comprehensive experience as a published researcher—both within a lab setting and in underinvested communities—will facilitate her innovative and culturally aware approaches toward working with youth, employers, and institutions of higher education. Lastly, Anna has experience in working with individual, family, and community systems which will encourage multi-pronged strategies within her role.

Anna graduated with her Master in Social Work, with a focus on Community Organizing and Social Action, from the University of Pittsburgh. She also holds a Bachelor in Exercise Science from the University of New Hampshire.
