Dan Halewicz

Dan joins New Heights with over 20 years of experience in business management, as well as 20 years of experience in the world of basketball in a wide variety of roles and positions. Dan is responsible for helping to oversee, design and implement the fiscal and administrative components of New Heights.
Prior to joining New Heights, Dan spent the majority of his career as the Director of Administration and Finance for the Wayne Police Athletic League, a non-profit, youth sports, recreation and educational organization based in Wayne, NJ with an annual budget of $5 million and a 65,000 sq ft facility. Dan has also served as the Executive Director at another non-profit organization, as well as the Controller for a few other privately owned companies. Dan's basketball background is comprised of experience as the founder, director and head coach of the NJ Wolfpack Basketball Program, head coach at other youth basketball programs, positions as an assistant coach at the freshmen, JV and varsity high school levels, and, most currently, has served as an assistant coach for the past 15 seasons for men's basketball at William Paterson University.
Dan graduated magna cum laude and received his BS in Biology from Muhlenberg College ('96), earned a Master's Degree in Sports Administration from William Paterson University, and is currently an Adjunct Professor at William Paterson University teaching Sport Economics & Finance.
