Jeremy Snepar is the CEO & Co-Founder of the New York Code + Design Academy. At the NYCDA, Jeremy focuses on making technology and programming education accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds. Concerned with the lack of computer science education throughout our school systems from elementary through college, Jeremy launched the Code + Design Academy to fill the gap and he believes that understanding the languages that power the digital economy are becoming increasingly important in the 21st century. Prior to the New York Code + Design Academy, Jeremy was the Executive Vice President of the New York Film Academy. Before NYFA, Jeremy advised numerous digital media and technology companies on business plans, fundraising and M&A at MESA. Jeremy studied economics at Cornell University and currently lives in New York City with his fiancee Nicole where he enjoys cycling, urban gardening, and walking his pug Charlie around this city.
