Matthew Norman is an Executive Director and Banker at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Matt advises highly successful executives, lawyers, their law firms and other centers of influence across New Jersey whose wealth planning requirements have evolved to a more complex set of objectives. His focus is on delivering the intellectual capital, breadth of resources and brand reputation of J.P. Morgan to help clients pursue the financial futures they envision.

Passionate about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives in the workplace, Matt believes the key to effectuating change is providing a voice for underrepresented members. He views his role as a bridge to lend a listening ear and mentor younger professionals.

Matt’s career began in 2014 at TD Bank and J.P. Morgan. In the years since, he has developed a diverse, high-energy background. Most recently, he was a Business Manager in Institutional Sales at Citigroup Global Markets and, earlier, was in Citi’s Law Firm Group Private Bank. 

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Southern New Jersey, Matt is a proud alumnus of St. Augustine Prep. He earned a B.B.A. from Neumann University in 3 years time, while graduating cum laude and playing DIII Basketball. He received an M.B.A. in Finance from La Salle University and holds a Certificate in Change Management from Cornell University. His goal this year is to engage more with the youth and become a more impactful member of New Heights’ Emerging Leaders Council.
