Omar Wilson

Omar Wilson is a member of the Facebook Sports Partnerships team, where he manages the platform partnerships of the North American sports leagues, including MLB, NFL, NBA, WWE and PGA Tour. Omar previously worked on the Facebook Global Business Group, where he consulted sports and publishing brands on how to leverage Facebook advertising solutions to grow their audiences, build their brands, and monetize their products and services online. 

Outside of work, Omar is passionate about youth, visual storytelling, and community outreach. From 2012 - 2016, Omar worked in sports production, his first love, where he traveled the nation producing films/docuseries on elite youth competing on the Nike EYBL circuit. In 2018 Omar served on the technology board of the Austin Black Chamber of Commerce, where his committee consulted over 100+ minority-owned businesses on digital marketing skills and building effective e-commerce brands. Through this work, Omar was selected for the 2019 ADCOLOR FUTURES Class, an award that recognizes young marketing & advertising leaders "rising up" in their career, and "reaching back" in their community. 

Omar is a Durham, North Carolina native and holds a B.A. in Business from Morehouse College, with a concentration in Marketing. Omar is a new member of the New Heights team.
