Sarah Girard
Education Manager
Sarah is responsible for supporting the growth of academic programming and social-emotional wellness of student athletes at New Heights. Sarah joins the New Heights team with 5+ years of experience in education, advocacy, research and consulting environments. She feels passionately about creating educational opportunities and support systems that empower young people to thrive in all aspects of their lives.
Prior to joining New Heights, Sarah obtained a Master of Public Administration in Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy from NYU Wagner School of Public Service. During this time, she served as the Project Coordinator and Teaching Assistant for NYU’s Democracy Scholars Program, while also working as a Project Associate for Columbia Law School’s Center for Public Research and Leadership. Before attending graduate school, Sarah worked for several years as a Research Specialist and Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Social Norms & Behavioral Dynamics.
